![]() ![]() I have no issue paying for something (I'd prefer nothing super expensive) but I want to know if other people actually use it and if it will work well for my needs. ![]() Roxio is definitely a more hands-on option for DV burning and creation. The package includes 15 other software tools and appsall for a surprisingly affordable price. ![]() When I search google for the issue, all I find is those fake lists of apps which are usually made by the software company that sells them. Roxio Creator NXT offers CD and DVD burning, video capture, video editing with motion tracking, photo editing, sound manipulation, and DVD authoring. This free DVD burning software can not only burn MP4, MOV, MKV, or AVI to DVD, but it also allows you to add additional audio tracks and subtitles, create DVD menu and edit the video effects. The issue I have with it is it seems to convert videos to a really specific mpg file which must use some specific bitrate or something, because when I try to lower the file sizes by converting them to mpg in VLC they freeze up the app. Free DVD Creator can create DVD with MP4/MOV/AVI/MKV /other video files on your Mac for free. ![]() The app works but the themes are ugly, which is whatever I guess. And yes DVDs are obsolete, but I had people asking me for some so take it up with them haha. I need to burn lots of DVDs to convert some peoples home movies so iDVD is out. Literally it can take hours to render a menu. Basically iDVD will run on my High Sierra machine but it's incredibly inefficient. Hey I've been trying to find a decent DVD burning software and I'm not sure anything I've tried is optimal. ![]()
